J. Greene Painting will give 1 pound of food for each Haiku submitted (up to 100 pounds) to the Northampton Survival Center.

Definition of a Haiku

Haiku is a traditional form of Japanese poetry. Haiku poems consist of 3 lines. The first and last lines of a Haiku have 5 syllables and the middle line has 7 syllables. The lines rarely rhyme.

Sample:

I am first with five
Then seven in the middle
Five again to end.

How to play the game

Here are Paint Sample Color names from Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore. To play the game, you must compose a Haiku that uses 3 of the colors listed. Once you have your Haiku, submit it by clicking the purple button below. Thank you for helping us help the Northampton Survival Center!
